Script turns a prescriber's intent into a structured, checked prescription: it reads the order from your EHR over FHIR R4, validates the medication and dose, and runs a controlled-substance database check before anything is sent. Orders that fail a check stop and route back to the prescriber with the reason attached.

Each prescription passes through the same gates every time, allergy and interaction lookups, schedule classification, and the controlled-substance lookup, so review happens consistently rather than depending on who is on shift. Clean orders move to your pharmacy network; flagged ones wait for a human decision.

Expect most routine prescriptions to clear checks in seconds, with a steady minority held for review depending on your formulary and patient mix. Script is a workflow and safety layer, not a clinical decision-maker, and it always leaves the final call with the prescriber.
